Even the fanciest of bottles are on offer from these Atlanta establishments, all offering curbside to-go and contactless payment.
This Virginia-Highland staple is allowing its loyal clientele to pick up not only delicious entrees, but wines as well. Nothing is off limits—if Murphy’s Wine Shop sells it, you can pick it up. That includes a 2004 Billecart-Salmon Brut Blanc de Blancs ($460) and 2014 Secret Door ‘1X’ Cabernet Sauvignon ($175). Check the Rare & Limited tab for the good stuff and to pay online.
Place an order at Aria before 3PM and you can pick it up between 5PM and 7PM the same day. The menu changes daily based on availability, with recent family meals for two including split yellow pea and vegetable soup and Springer Mountain Chicken with sweet potatoes, snap beans, lemon thyme and Yukon gold potatoes with steamed jasmine rice. Right before you check out, you’ll be tempted to add that day’s wine recommendations as well. At 50%t off, bottles are served up with qualifiers like “joyful and fully serious all at once” (Dolcetto, Idellwild, Fox Hill Vineyard, Mendocino 2017, $30). You can also donate to its Employee Assistance Fund on the website.
Ian Winslade and team are dedicated to making sure you and your family get fed—and that includes beverages—with curbside pickup and delivery available via Grub Hub and Uber Eats. Take out and delivery hours are Monday through Friday, noon to 7:30PM, and Saturday, 3 to 8PM. (Mission + Market also offers free meals every Thursday for anyone who has lost their job during the COVID-19 pandemic.) Dinner for two can only be completed one way, and that’s with an outstanding bottle of wine. Try the Chateau Palmer, Margaux 2008 ($975) or Levoille Las Cases, Saint-Julien-Medoc 2010 ($882) for a treat yourself moment. Donations to its Employee Assistance Fund are taken on the website as well, and any donations over $100 get 25% back in gift cards.
Full Commission
From Wednesday to Saturday, Full Commission at Larkin on Memorial is offering dinner and drinks to go. Veggie pasta with crab fritters is nicely complemented by a cocktail or a bottle of wine. Available for pick up, highlights include Klet Brda Motnik 2011 ($109), a Slovenian orange wine—because now is the perfect time to try something new.
Head to Shops Buckhead Atlanta to pick up pizzas, pastas and more from Taverna Buckhead. From 4PM to 9PM daily, you can satisfy your craving for Italian—and a nice bottle of wine. Ask for the 2016 GAJA Sito Moresco ($135), which has a smoky finish that pairs well with the tagilata di mango—beef tenderloin with salsa verde, asparagus and roasted potatoes.
Out in downtown Roswell, Monkey 68 is quenching pan-Asian cravings Wednesday through Sunday, 4 to 8:30PM. Belle Glos Clark & Telephone Pinot Noir 2017 ($105) pairs nicely with rolls proffering fatty fish; be sure to ask for it when ordering by phone. Pro tip: bottles of wine and sake are half-off on weekends only.
From 4PM to 9PM Monday through Wednesday, and noon to 9PM Thursday through Sunday, call Nina & Rafi at SPX Alley to secure your Detroit style pizzas, calzones, salads and more. Its pizzas are legit; so is the wine list. Selections like biodynamic wines Fleury Blanc de Noir Brut Nature Champagne NV ($125) or Radikon Oslavje Bianco Chardonnay and Sauvignon 2014 ($125) (there’s that trendy orange wine again) can whet your whistle.
Curbside pickup is available at Oak Steakhouse in Alpharetta, 4PM to 8PM Tuesday through Saturday. Grab your favorite cut to go, and add some wine: it’s half-off bottles up to $200, including Orin Swift “Machete” ($126) and Cabernet Sauvignon, Flora Springs ($100). The steaks are vacuum-sealed or cooked to order.
Italian food means Italian wine, and bottles are half-off up to $200, including Allegrini ($196), Castelli di Querceto “Cignale” ($155) and Stag’s Leap “Artemis” ($130). Family-friendly pasta options like Bolognese, cacio e Pepe and sweat pea agnolotti are available, as are pizzas—and a dessert option.
Tiny Lou’s is serving Old Fourth Ward and beyond from 5PM to 9PM with its to-go menu which includes fan favorites like steak frites, foie gras tourchon, house-made brioche and more. Kid-friendly options have been added as well, like a classic grilled cheese made with brioche or house cut fusilli pasta with garden pesto. Save space for a Blondie sundae or a dozen chocolate chip cookies to go. Pastry chef Claudia Martinez will even make you a nine-inch cake with 48 hours notice. Complement it all with a bottle of Tattinger La Francaise, Brut, which is $40 right now. Text [email protected] to order. Tiny Lou’s, Colletta and Oak are all part of The Indigo Road Hospitality Group, which is giving 100 percent of gift card proceeds to go back to staff.
Head to the Westside to get your wine in a chic six-pack ($110) with wine notes and even quarantine food recommendations. Perrine and her team have over 750 options from $11 to $550, and they can put together a package for you. Just let them know your budget and how many bottles you want and they will suggest expert recommendations from 11AM to 6PM daily.
With curbside pickup 4PM to 9PM daily—plus delivery for those within a two mile radius, Le Bilboquet makes it easier than ever to feast on its beloved staple dishes from the comfort of your home. But, alas, French cuisine can only be enjoyed to its full potential with a bottle of wine to pair. Thankfully, the restaurant is offering three varietals: the La Grand Rue, Domaine Francois Lamarche Monopole Grand Cru, Burgundy, 2016 ($1,500); the Chateau Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande, Pauillac 2eme Grand Cru Classe (Left bank Bordeaux), 1982 ($1,500); and the Chateau Angelus, Saint-Emilion (Right bank Bordeaux), 2005 ($1,600)—ensuring each dish your order has a perfect wine match.
