In 1970, the first AJC Peachtree Road Race saw the Original 110 (that’s the first 110 people to finish the inaugural race) run across the finish line. Now, 50 years later, Atlantans have turned the 10K into a tradition each Fourth of July, running through the streets of their city with pride—and sweat. This year, the focus was on the race’s 50th running, with big-time giveaways, like a getaway for two to Seoul, South Korea.
