Lifestyle,
Attune by Living Wholly will take participants to higher ground with workshops, keynote speakers, health-forward food and more.
It’s hard to pinpoint what Attune by Living Wholly is, because the words wellness conference don’t quite do it justice. From Nov. 8-11 (day passes from $250, immersion passes from $1,200, and full immersion passes with availability to stay nearby at Fox Hall from $2,000), Serenbe’s idyllic land will be taken over by some of the best and brightest in the health and wellness fields. Attendees have access to insightful workshops, motivational speakers, movement classes, live music performances, healthy food, an artists’ market and more, all set against the backdrop of one of the most forward-thinking wellness communities in the country. Attune was founded by Jenny Emblom Castro, a pioneer in events centered around wellness, whose own passion for wellness started out with a very personal health scare. Here, The Atlantan sat down with the Alabama native to chat about why this conference—which will expect over 700 guests—will be like no other.
What motivated you to start Attune?
Attune is a four-day wellness experience to optimize health from the inside out. The idea came from my experience of events in the wellness space. I have done a lot of half-day events, like socials meet TEDTalks. I did an event in Aspen that was a four-day event, and I just really loved the opportunity for people to immerse in that way. Then I got this deep call to bring this content to a new market. The idea of doing it in the South is really exciting for me, and I was introduced to Serenbe by my friend Kelly [Sibley] of Bamboo Juices.

What drew you to Serenbe?
The nature of peace, definitely, all the trees, trails and just the beauty of it. I also love their commitment to wellness and how that’s woven into everything they do and with sustainability. It really speaks to how I live my life—and it’s got that Southern charm! Energetically, the land is very special. I just feel really connected and I always have such a healing and nourishing experience when I’m there.
What can someone expect who’s coming from Atlanta on an immersion pass?
We will start the morning off at 7AM, right around sunrise. And we’ll have a few offerings, which one includes a tea ceremony with Baelyn Elspeth. It’s a whole ceremonial, meditative tea experience—so beautiful. Then there will also be meditation and a guided nature walk, juices and smoothies by Bamboo Juices And then the movement classes! Then, a really nourishing brunch—really high-quality food, supportive functional food. Keynote speakers will speak. Friday that’s Gabby Bernstein; Saturday it’s Elizabeth Gilbert; Sunday it’s Dr. Joe Dispenza; Monday it’s Lauren Roxburgh, Gwyneth Paltrow’s trainer.
We’ve also spent a lot of time curating an artist’s market. Different artists from all over the world are coming in. It’s the same intention: mindful goods, beautiful, very conscious artists. That will be a whole tent–probably 30 different artists, healers, an auric photographer, a palm reader and more.
Though an impossible choice, if you had to, what days or events are a must?
I think for some, it might be an easier gravitation to Elizabth Gilbert [author of Eat, Pray, Love], so I’d say Saturday. There are a lot of workshops Saturday afternoon, too with holistic nutritionist and author Elissa Goodman; nutritionist and podcast Sahara Rose; meditation instructor Light Watkins—it feels pretty stacked, but in a good way!
Any hidden gem speakers?
Dr. Joe Dispenza—everyone needs to go to that. He’s talking on Sunday and it’s a two-hour workshop. He might be someone people don’t know or have not heard of in Atlanta. It’s next level healing—neuroscience, genetics, the whole quantum field. That’s my secret tip—he sells out convention centers with thousands of people around the world.
This seems personal to you.
It is. I really want to share with people because I know how powerful mindset work can be. This is such a heartfelt vision that I truly feel is going to create an elevated state for people, and hopefully they can ride that out and implement it into their lives.
