Psychedelic prints and mesmerizing motifs make up award-winning Greek fashion designer Mary Katrantzou’s signature style, and SCAD FASH Museum of Fashion + Film’s latest exhibition, Kaleidoscope Katrantzou: Mary Katrantzou, 10 Years in Fashion—on view through Sept. 22—dives into her avant-garde creations. Katrantzou’s limitless imagination leads her to take inspiration from the simplest of items: postage stamps, typewriters, even spoons—turning the mundane into masterpieces in the form of kaleidoscopic garments. The 36-year-old designer’s innovative methods marry art, fashion and technology, and have made her a powerhouse in the industry, dressing elite clientele from Michelle Obama and Naomi Campbell to, most recently, Beyoncé for the Global Citizen Festival. Patron memberships from $1,500, 1600 Peachtree St. NW
