6AM
“I wake up as early as 6, and sometimes I get the luxury of hitting snooze till 6:30, but I usually try to start my day before the kids wake up. I hop straight from the bed into the shower. Th is is what I consider my ‘me time.’ I use this time to decompress and get my head straight at the beginning of the day. One product I’ve been using is the new Counterman line from Beautycounter, thanks to my wife, Christy. She has gotten us all switched over to holistic and naturally better-for-you skincare and hair products.”

“Before the kids are up, I sneak down to our kitchen to make myself a cup of coffee. I love pour-over coffee because it is the strongest and tastes the best. Then I sit down at my computer to go through what my day looks like.”

“This is when I feel the rest of the world has begun their day, and I start reaching out to my team members to ensure they have everything they need from me. By now, my kids are up too. They are almost 2 and 3 ½ years old, and I love spending time with them in the morning. I previously used this time to go to the gym and train for triathlons, but right now, I’m happy to dedicate that time to my family.”

9AM
“Around 9, I jump into my Land Rover and head to site visits, vendor visits and get on a variety of phone calls between our clients. I bounce back and forth between my home office, my new office in Buckhead and my car office. As much as I’d love to say I get to stay on job sites and collaborate with my team, the main part of my job is to keep the wheels greased and keep things moving!”

5:30PM
“This is what I call my ‘hard pause,’ where I put down my devices and turn my focus back to my family. If it is a nice day, we head outside to play in the yard, or hang out around the house together. This is another point in my day where I used to go hit at the driving range, but I love giving these moments to my kids and I’d chose it over and over again. Maybe one day I’ll take the kids with me!”

8PM
“By this time, we have done bath, books and bed for the little ones. My wife and I love to cook, but when you are running a business with two kids, and one on the way, we usually opt for takeout from our favorite Mexican places, Pure Taqueria and Taqueria del Sol. We will also never turn away a good slice.”

9PM
“This is when my pause ends and I get back on my devices. I like to get on my iPad and pop in my AirPods and zone out. I usually stay up pretty late, getting to and responding to people I couldn’t get back to during the day. Whatever time I end up going to sleep, I get excited for what another day in the field working with new burgeoning tech brings me.”
