Party Pics: Come Together to Fix Georgia Pets

Modern Luxury Staff | February 9, 2018 | Parties

Held at the home of co-founder Ginny and Guy Millner, the sixth annual Come Together to Fix Georgia Pets event championed Marilyn Krone for her efforts in animal activism. Hosted by Joanne Chesler Gross, Alison Womack Jowers and special guest Bo Derek, the evening celebrated Fix Ga Pets’ efforts to end the overpopulation and subsequent senseless euthanasia of pets in Georgia.

The obvious attraction was legendary star Derek, an animal rights activist herself and owner of Bo Derek Pet Care, a line of pet products that gives back to retired military dogs. An intimate dinner by Mary Hataway of Soiree Catering and Events for only 40 patrons kicked off the evening, before 150 additional guests were invited to join in the festivities. An auction, which was emceed by Christine Pullara and auctioneer Dan Britt, had a petcentric bend, such as the opportunity to have your pet’s portrait on the Fix GA Pets van that travels across the state.
