To go along with its successful roster of physicians, nurses, administrators and many others who make RSC run so smoothly, the 23,000-square-foot surgical center recently underwent a major expansion and renovation. Stretching over the eighth floor of the 5671 Doctor’s Building, the surgical center first unveiled a stunning new lobby and reception area in March 2019. While a majority of the overhaul was completed, which includes brand new pre- and post-op patient care areas, patient and family recovery rooms, and a new procedure room, the center remained open, operating fully throughout the entire renovation. Nearing total completion, only a few finishing touches remain on the impressive renovation, including upgrades to the central sterilization and supply areas, which are scheduled for a May completion.

While its top-notch facility and offerings prove quite impressive, there is one thing that sets RSC apart from other facilities—and it’s not something one can learn from a textbook in medical school: Resurgens Surgery Center puts the patient first.
