Meet The Atlantan's 2020 Men of Style: Berk Atay

This regional manager of Turkish furniture line Lazzoni (3178 Peachtree Road NE) came into the job naturally, having previously worked at the brand’s flagship showroom in Chelsea. While Atlanta is the first showroom Berk Atay has opened personally—“we have five nationwide right now and are planning to expand it to 25 within five years”—it might not be his last. For now, you can catch him serving customers in his shiny new showroom on Peachtree Road, waxing poetic about everything from sectionals to convertible coffee tables.

The first item of clothing I bought for myself was basketball shoes.

For kicks, I always wear Asics Onitsuka Tiger.

John Varvatos is my favorite shoe designer.

I am most confident when I wear my suit and tie.

I get my hair cut at Groomed Gentlemen’s Parlour in Buckhead.

A man is not fully dressed without his accessories.

I am happiest when I’m at work.

My style hero is Donald Glover.

In three words, I would describe my style as clean, polished and bold.

Accomplishments make me happy.

In the next year, I hope to get married.
