Enduring Hearts Bourbon Gala & Auction
This year’s Bourbon Gala features a full lineup of Pappy Van Winkle and other high-end whiskeys. All proceeds will benefit the nonprofit Enduring Hearts, whose mission is to fund research that increases the longevity of pediatric heart transplants, improves quality of life for heart transplant recipients and eliminates pediatric heart diseases that may result in transplant. The Bully Ball
Join in celebrating 13 years of The Bully Ball. Giselle
After two long years, the Atlanta Ballet will perform one of ballet’s most beautiful and tragic tales, Giselle. When a young peasant girl, Giselle, becomes deceived by her true love, Albrecht, she falls into despair and dies from a broken heart. But her story doesn’t end there; Giselle rises from the dead and seeks revenge on Albrecht with the help of other magical creatures. The ghost-filled ballet is separated into two acts and takes audiences through the feelings of love, betrayal and passion as they follow Giselle on her vengeful path. The High Museum of Art’s newest exhibit questions “What is the relationship of love to truth, freedom and justice?” What Is Left Unspoken, Love will feature more than 70 contemporary works from 35 national and international artists. 47th Annual Language and Literacy Gala
After a two-year hiatus, The Atlanta Speech School is back with the 47th annual Language and Literacy Gala. The Guild serves as the volunteer and fundraising part of the school. Gala co-chairs Amanda Mansfield, Caroline Warren and Kelly O’Neill have created a beautiful springtime event to keep founder Katherine Hamm’s promise to help all children develop their full potential through literacy and learning.
