NEXT LEVEL
With her recent transition from one of Atlanta’s top-performing real estate agents to her consulting firm, JMPartners (jmpartners.io), helping brokerages and leading luxury real estate agents identify and achieve their goals, it’s clear Jere Metcalf is making her own unique mark on the industry she loves. And it all started with her work alongside these luxury real estate agents in Atlanta who are still JMPartners clients today.
Atlanta luxury real estate agent Keith Bigg first met JMPartners principal Jere Metcalf a few years ago at one of Metcalf’s listings when he was searching for a new home for his clients. He says he will never forget the experience that Metcalf helped him create for his buyers, which ultimately influenced him to become a member of JMPartners. “Even after we were under contract, when I shared with her that my clients were driving by the property at dawn, she dropped everything and eagerly coordinated to get the lights on and the property ‘show-ready’ for the drive-by,” he remembers. “Jere not only recognized me as her ally for this transaction and many to come, she knows the little things that make the big deals. I knew then that whatever Jere Metcalf is up to, I’ll be by her side.”
Lisa Bennett, another JMPartners client and member of BreakthroughLuxury, Metcalf’s coaching program, has expanded her business. Today, she works alongside investors from the buying stage to building, branding, and selling homes and developments in Atlanta. As a result, Bennett has a long pipeline of buyers and sellers that compounds her impact and results.
“While most coaches and consultants give you insights and mindset shifts that open you up to change, Jere takes it to an entirely new level,” Bennett explains. “She goes deep and gives you tangible steps and tools that create the change you seek.”

Bennett’s astonishing accomplishments weren’t achieved without even more astonishing obstacles. About two years ago, she was diagnosed with a rare cancer that would not respond to chemotherapy or radiation, ultimately opting for lifesaving surgery to remove her leg in June 2021. Fast-forward to just over a year later, and this real estate powerhouse’s performance is stronger than ever. Says Metcalf, “As her career has grown, to say she doesn’t let setbacks stop her or that she has used them as motivation to forge ahead doesn’t do justice to describe what she has overcome.”
One by one, Metcalf guides her clients to eliminate obstacles and excel in their careers. She says that the most powerful tool is to listen. “Listen, repeat, get clarity—not just for you, but, more importantly, for them,” she offers. “We often don’t know or see the core issues, or we’d resolve them for ourselves.” Once an issue is determined, from there, “the battle isn’t learning, but unlearning,” she continues, “getting all of that stuff out of the way so that we can rediscover the greatest gifts we have and serve our clients.”
For Atlantan Craig Dodd, the first agent to approach Metcalf about coaching after hearing her podcast, Top Real Estate Agents Tell How They Do It: Jere Metcalf Podcast, continues to work with Metcalf as a client and BreakthroughLuxury member. “I realized that it’s what I’m already wired with and what I come to the table with that eliminates my competition and wins business,” he shares. “That changed everything, brought joy to my work, and the opportunity for Lisa Bennett and I to merge forces to serve over 100 listings we’re signing on this year alone.”
Meanwhile, Bridgett Posey, the top-selling real estate agent on Metcalf’s team before JMPartners became a consulting firm, came to Metcalf with the vision to break into the Brookhaven market and to increase her average sales price. The duo created a vision, strategy and action steps that aligned Posey’s goals with her lifestyle, which revolved around four kids and a working husband. Now, “Bridgett has doubled her average sales price, increased her listing inventory and tripled her annual sales volume,” Metcalf reveals.
Finally, local agent Tom Abrams, who spent more than 30 years in luxury retail and is married to well-known Atlanta wedding designer Britt Wood, has tapped into JMPartners’ tools, resources and one-on-one calls with Metcalf to align all he has to offer in a way that attracts the clients he serves best (fittingly, mothers of the bride). “As Tom’s business grows, he continues to represent clients of affluence and wealth with the utmost discretion and joy,” Metcalf shares. Abrams adds, “Having Jere Metcalf on your side creates opportunity, not to mention our one-on-one strategy sessions and clear action steps after every call.”
Having just launched BreakthroughLuxury in February, Metcalf is excited about what she and her clients are accomplishing. Her work extends far beyond Atlanta to include agents and brokers like Michelle Thomas in Naples, Fla., who is ranked in the top 100 agents in the United States, and Mayi de la Vega and ONE Sotheby’s International Realty, which serves South Florida and along Florida’s eastern coast from Miami to Amelia Island and is a top-five affiliate of all Sotheby’s International Realty brokerages.
Metcalf says one of the things she loves most about her clients in addition to their extensive successes is the multitude of perspectives and differences. “Many of our members not only represent clients who own homes all over the world, approximately one-fourth of the members were born in countries such as England, Ghana, Bulgaria, Cuba, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Russia and Turkey,” she recalls, citing agents such as Confie Dornu-Lieku, who works for ONE Sotheby’s International Realty and seeks to provide better opportunities for the people of his native Ghana, and Manhattan-based Fred Spencer, who entered real estate after years of advising investors of professional sports teams in England.
With a fascinating clientele boasting big talent and even bigger dreams, Metcalf couldn’t be happier in her new role as a consultant to luxury real estate agents and brokerages as they navigate a competitive and ever-evolving industry. “The biggest lesson is remembering to meet people where they are,” she says. “How we’re wired, what we have to offer and arriving in that place isn’t always easy without the right help.”
