What is the Jere Metcalf Podcast?
This is a podcast created for real estate agents who are or are working toward being the best real estate agents in the country. It started as a venture to transition myself to coaching real estate agents, what I’m finally doing today. As a real estate agent, I wanted to tap into every perspective on being the best of the best and pay it forward to my future clients.
How has it evolved over the years?
Over 250 episodes and five years in, this podcast pulled me deeper into being a real estate agent and catapulted my career to new levels. This sidetracked me for a few years as my intention was to learn and transition, not to actually sell more and level up my business. By the nature of aligning with great agents, my real estate business and team didn’t just grow, we kind of exploded. Of course, I should have known.
What does your coaching program entail?
BreakthroughLuxury is a coaching program that provides one-on-one and group coaching that facilitates lifelong changes within the careers of residential real agent estates. It all happened as it was meant to be and better than ever. Today, I’m humbled to be running alongside real estate agents, helping them break through to their next level in luxury real estate.
Who have been your favorite podcast guests?
That’s a tough question. There are so many great interviews to help other agents do the same. The only guest on the show, so far, who isn’t a real estate agent or broker is Chris Voss, author of Never Split the Difference, with a simple but ‘flipped’ approach to what most think of when they think of negotiating. As the listeners know, I’ve read this book seven times and counting, as his book not only changed my career but my life. The interview to listen to with Chris, however, is the most recent one, episode 235, ‘How to Become a Master Negotiator and Know It.’
