The holidays are a special time of year when diets go out the window and indulgence comes into vogue. It’s a time to treat yourself and loved ones with delicious delights, the fancier and more decadent the better—but what if your box of chocolates brought joy beyond the bite?

This season, give the gift of specialty sweets while giving back with a box of bonbons from the Jacques Pépin Foundation, crafted in collaboration with Jacques Torres Chocolate and Woodford Reserve premium American whiskey.

The French pastry and chocolatier mixed 60 percent dark Belgian chocolate ganache with Woodford Reserve’s award-winning Double Oaked Bourbon for a rich and flavorful twist. Each bonbon delivers a smooth, silky bite that blends floral and vanilla flavors to pair with the bourbon’s dark caramel and spice notes.

The famous French chef’s non-profit provides free culinary education and life skills training to those who have found themselves without work or opportunities, and you can support the mission by ordering the limited-edition box of chocolate bonbons.

Each signature box contains 12 candies and comes with a year-long membership to the Jacques Pépin Foundation. The Commis level membership includes full access to the Cook with Jacques Pépin and Friends Video Recipe Book’s more than 100 recipes and accompanying videos, hosted by Pépin himself.

Existing recipes feature guest appearances from celebrated chefs including Ming Tsai, Kwame Onwuachi, Alice Waters and Thomas Keller. You’ll also have access to 50 new recipes set for release on Nov. 30.

The limited-edition bonbon box retails for $65 including domestic shipping, and proceeds from the bonbon sales will support the JPF’s mission to provide free culinary education to workers in need.

Since its foundation in 2016, the non-profit organization supports community kitchens around the country, providing curricular materials and assisting in fundraising efforts. It also facilitates relationships between equipment manufacturers and educational providers, and offers grants to community-based culinary training programs.
