Dr. Debra Gray King’s passion for transforming lives reaches far beyond her work as a cosmetic dentist.
Heart of Gold
As the founder of Atlanta Center for Cosmetic Dentistry, Dr. Debra Gray King is known for creating confident, radiant smiles, but her impact extends far beyond the dental chair. Her dedicated, generous support of local charities reflects a deep commitment to empowering others.
Two organizations in particular—Camp Southern Ground and Usher’s New Look—hold a special place in her heart. Camp Southern Ground, founded in 2011 by renowned artist Zac Brown, offers kids ages 7 to 17 a place to grow and learn in the summer months in Fayetteville, Ga. During the rest of the year, it becomes a community center to support military and veteran families. Meanwhile, Usher’s New Look, founded by famed Atlantan and artist Usher Raymond IV in 1999, aims to provide under-resourced youth with the tools they need to realize their full potential and become leaders.

“Supporting Camp Southern Ground and Usher’s New Look aligns perfectly with my commitment to helping others achieve empowerment and purpose,” says Dr. King, who’s donated more than $1 million to local nonprofits through the Atlanta Center for Cosmetic Dentistry and The Dr. Debra Gray King Family Charitable Foundation.

At the heart of her philanthropy are the same principles she holds for her practice. That’s why, for Dr. King, giving back is about more than donations. “We strive to make a lasting impact, and these organizations embody the values that are central to our work at the Atlanta Center for Cosmetic Dentistry. Whether we’re helping a patient or contributing to these causes, the ultimate goal is transformation—giving people the confidence to be the best version of themselves,” she explains. “Giving back is a way for us to extend the transformative work we do in dentistry beyond creating beautiful smiles.
