Style & Beauty,

Hair is everything right now.

We heard being blonde may be cheugy? Every model, social media personality, and celebrity we care about has long luscious chocolate-brown locks. Think Melissa Wood and Danielle Bernstein.

Good thing we just died our hair beach blonde and cut it to our shoulders. A tragedy!

We sat with Mitchell Ramazon, a celebrity hairstylist best known for his artistry in luxury color & hairstyling, to get a pulse on the latest hair trends.

Through his apprenticeship as Chris Appleton’s assistant, Mitchell expanded his professional roster, working with some of Hollywood’s biggest names including Jennifer Lopez, Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Katy Perry, Dua Lipa, and more.

The hair guru’s experiences range from the Super Bowl, the Emmy Awards, the Met Gala, the Golden Globes, the Grammy’s, The Voice, American Idol, the Oscars, and our personal favorite, Keeping up with the Kardashians.

Through his consistent collaborations among cross-industry beauty creatives, Mitchell continues to challenge his skillset and deliver innovation in the art of hair. His current clientele includes Shanina Shaik, Anastasia Karanikolaou, Serena Kerrigan, Dorothy Wang, and more.

Evolution Of Curtain Bangs

Curtain bangs have become the perfect introduction to full-on bangs. Those that loved the flirty fringe vibe of a curtain bang will adore a full fringe for fall. We no longer have to worry over the sweat of summer and can now go for a more blunt look while enjoying the cool breeze of fall/winter.

Zigzag Parts

90’s updos are back to take your holiday outfit to the next level. A simple pulled-back bun, with a zigzag part, can elevate any look. This is a great way to spice up your look without making a drastic change to your hair length.

Braids and Twists

You’ll be seeing a lot of dimension through braids and twists this season. There is a ton of flexibility here from a full head of braids to twisted updos or accent pieces.

70’s Glam

Farrah Fawcett styled hair is giving beach waves a run for its money. The famous blown-out layered look is here to take the curtain bangs and 90’s layered cuts to the next level. You’ll look totally glamorous, we swear.

Wigs

Those that want a new vibe without leaving behind their signature look are confidently wearing wigs and hair extensions to accessorize with their fall outfits. Consider it all the fun with low commitment. And it’s not tacky if done right, trust us.

Warm Hair Color

Warm tones are making a comeback and what better time than the fall when our skin needs it most. Light reflects and sparkles off the shimmer of warm tones, making it the most ideal hair color for the holidays. Warm colors can come in cool shades too, be sure to ask your colorist which tone is best for you!

Healthy Hair

Healthy hair is always in and more than ever. Now is the time to recover from the summer heat and those trips to the beach or pool. Reach for a nourishing mask to really give those dry ends some love. Any style should begin with a strong foundation of well-conditioned hair. My favorite is the Money Masque.

Shag

The shag has made a comeback, and this season it's here to stay. We’re going to see a lot more layered haircuts, some more than others, resembling the old school shag.
