Why did you decide to open Atlanta Skin Wellness Center?

I opened it to meet a pressing demand in modern clinical and cosmetic dermatology. Patients, now more than ever, want to feel connected to their doctor, to know that their doctor takes a personal interest in their well-being, and that they aren’t just a number.

What differentiates it from other practices?

It’s our rare combination of personal attention and state-of-the-art, well-researched skincare services that set us apart from other practices. Perhaps most importantly, the personalized nature of Atlanta Skin Wellness Center gives me the opportunity to carefully listen to each and every one of my patients’ concerns and connect with them on a deeper level, so that together we can create and tailor an individualized treatment plan to meet their specific needs and goals.

What are some key issues in dermatology today, and how will your practice provide for those needs for your patients?

There continues to be a rise in interest in noninvasive/minimally invasive anti-aging cosmetic dermatology procedures to help revitalize the skin’s texture, elasticity and appearance. There is also a great deal of interest in innovative body treatments that are now available to help enhance the skin’s appearance throughout the entire body as well as body contouring/shaping treatments to help enhance your shape without surgery. In the medical dermatology arena, the detection, diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer continues to be an issue of critical importance for many people, as well as effective treatments for common conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis and hair loss, including minimally invasive procedures for hair growth such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and other injections. Atlanta Skin Wellness Center is on the forefront of these issues and offers experienced and skilled medical and cosmetic dermatology services to effectively diagnose and treat these and many other skin health problems facing patients today.

What services do you offer?

We offer a focused array of medical services to patients of all ages, including skin examinations, management of rashes, laser treatment of precancerous lesions, mole removal, and skin cancer diagnosis and treatment. On the cosmetic side, our services include dermaplaning; HydraFacials; and aesthetic lasers to correct redness and prominent veins, dark spots and sun damage, as well as lasers to specifically promote collagen production, reduce pore size, and improve laxity and dullness.

What are some new products or services clients can expect this fall into next year?
