What color are you obsessed with right now for the fall season?
Appalachian Brown from Benjamin Moore. We’re currently painting our bedroom this color. benjaminmoore.com
What is your favorite interior trend right now, and what brand/ designer do you see doing it a lot?
Currently obsessed with patterned or printed fabric on sofas—Billy Baldwin style. artemisiainc.com
What is your favorite cocktail?
Boulevardier—it’s basically a Negroni with bourbon.
What is one product that you think describes your interior design style and why?
The photo (below) of an antique African chair sums it up for me. It’s raw and refined, collected and storied. dixonrye.com
Who is your favorite designer? What is your favorite piece of theirs and why?
So many! There is usually something I love about almost all work, but if pinned down, I love Stephen Sills’ works. His use of color and scale nails it every time. stephensills.com
What is your favorite room in the house to decorate/design?
The living room. I enjoy working through different configurations in regard to how people circulate through a space, and there are always many different ways to organize a living room.
East Coast or West Coast style?
We just spent a week in New York and a week in L.A. I love both, but L.A. always wins out for me. The sun, the laid-back attitude, the architecture and so many great shops.
Dog or cat person?
Our dog, Stella, of course!
What is one decor item you can’t go wrong with including?
Small desk lamps—I love the Rex table lamp from Urban Electric. urbanelectric.com

What is one product that you think describes your interior design style and why?
Bugia candleholder from Roll & Hill. Candles set the right mood. The look and feel of the candleholder is geometric, very modern, and the materials used have a historic touch combined together with the right mix of old and new, with the possibility to give it your personal touch by using your favorite candle to give your space the personal mood it needs to be individual. rollandhill.com
What color are you obsessed with right now for fall?
Pitch Blue by Farrow & Ball farrow-ball.com
What is one decor item you can’t go wrong with including?
A piece of art—sculptures, ceramics. They give an authentic and artisan look to the interior. There is always a story to tell… about the artist or the piece itself and one can admire its craft smanship. It’s a souvenir of the past. dixonrye.com
What is your favorite interior trend right now, and what brand/ designer do you see doing it a lot?
Use of color: India Mahdavi in the Hotel du Cloitre, Arles, France. lecloitre.com
What is your favorite room in the house to decorate/design?
The bedroom—a place to relax, recenter yourself and fall asleep next to the person you love
Who is your favorite designer? What is your favorite piece of theirs and why?
Axel Vervoordt and Vincent Van Duysen for Kanye West and Kim Kardashian—fireplace in living room
What is your favorite cocktail, and where do you go to get one?
I prefer wine over cocktails. I’m obsessed with Grüner Veltliner, a grape variety you can’t go wrong with. My favorite one is Bernhard Ott Fass 4. It’s hard to find in Atlanta since it is Austrian, but I’m so happy that Lucian Books and Wine just opened… they have it! lucianbooksandwine.com
East Coast or West Coast style?
Torn…. but love the West Coast.
Dog or cat person?
Our dog, Stella, of course
