PIONEERING PRACTICE
Dr. Rebecca Johnson Osei, founder and CEO of Concierge Psychology, has built a thriving bicoastal business by prioritizing discreet, personalized and flexible care.
When Dr. Rebecca Johnson Osei was in graduate school, therapy was synonymous with “busy waiting rooms; long waits for appointments; and burned-out, overworked therapists trying their hardest to provide good care in a system not designed to optimize their potential,” she recalls.
After receiving both an MA and PsyD in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology, she was determined to find a better way, founding Atlanta’s Concierge Psychology in 2014. The pioneering practice applies the medical concierge model to mental health, offering in-office and telehealth appointments, flexible and convenient scheduling, and highly personalized care to busy, high-achieving professionals.
“Most people want to feel like their doctor cares about them personally and prioritizes their needs,” says Osei. “People want to be able to easily contact their therapist when something comes up, to feel that therapeutic support is a quick call away.”

That modern and highly personalized approach to care is reflected in her office decor—plush furniture, abstract art and dramatic light fixtures you’d expect in a luxury hotel. Also unlike traditional practices, where eight- to 12-person-a-day caseloads are common, Concierge’s therapists see an average of five patients per day, giving them ample time to devote to each client and flexibility for last-minute appointments. Utilizing an integrative approach to psychotherapy, services range from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-focused treatment to executive consulting and business coaching, all available discreetly and on-call from the luxury of one’s home, the practice’s boutique-style offices or on the road.
One of the first practices of its kind in the country, Concierge Psychology now has offices in Atlanta and Los Angeles and multiple providers serving clients in 34 states—and counting.
“We get to know each of our clients deeply,” says Osei. “You aren’t just our ‘Tuesday at 2PM.’ We know who you are, how many kids you have, and your aspirations and fears by memory instead of having to check your chart before each appointment.” conciergepsychology.com
