NUTRITIOUS AND DELICIOUS Fine-casual spot Recess is bringing its colorful, vegetable-forward food to Buckhead Village this month. Designed by Martin Rickles Studio, the 1,375-square-foot space’s exterior is painted in a vibrant “Starry Night” blue and will eventually have a takeout window for convenient to-go and outdoor ordering. Inside, the restaurant’s playful design draws inspiration from high-end athleticwear and schoolhouse nostalgia, complete with sports court and field markings; saturated primary and secondary colors; and mixed materials like warmtoned woods, rubber and tile.
