Immerse yourself in a new spine-chilling Halloween extravaganza with the debut of The Blind Pig Parlour Bar’s Halloween-themed pop-up. Through Nov. 2, guests can enjoy themed bites, hair-raising libations and spooky decorations.
Located at Chido and Padre’s back entrance, the 1920s-inspired speakeasy has dubbed its latest seasonal experience, The Wicked Pig.
The restaurant’s culinary team has whipped up a fright-filled menu of light bites to celebrate the season. Offerings include prosciutto crostinis with “eyeball” olives and mozzarella, harvest pumpkin hummus, deviled eggs, puff pastry “mummy” dogs, dark chocolate brownie skulls, midnight mousse graves made with cake dirt and more.
Visitors can also enjoy a wide selection of beers, wines, shots, craft cocktails and bubbles by the glass and bottle. The pop-up’s selection of cocktail “Spooky Sippers” includes the El Jimador Blanco-infused “Red Blood Moon” margarita, the pumpkin spice espresso martini with chai foam and the “Scream Queen” sangria with red wine, Licor 43, assorted fall fruit, cinnamon and ginger ale.
The concept is also serving a lineup of shots, including the vanilla vodka and hazelnut “B12” shot, the “Vitamin C” shot with El Jimador tequila, rosemary syrup and orange and the candy corn shot made with Licor 43, coconut rum, orange juice, grenadine and whipped cream.
The Wicked Pig will be open Wednesday through Saturday from Sept. 20 to Nov. 2 from 5 p.m. until late. Reservations are strongly recommended through OpenTable, and walk-ins are available at the bar on a first-come, first-served basis. The Wicked Pig may be reserved for small parties and special events any day of the week. For more information, visit theblindpigparlourbar.com.
