As the kickoff to his monthly Bless Their Hearts dinner series, chef Joey Ward of Southern Belle and Georgia Boy fame brought together a team of Southern culinary talents to benefit No Kid Hungry. Guest chefs included Justin Dixon of Humble Mumble, Jiyeon Lee of Heirloom Market BBQ, Zach Meloy of Dirt Church Ceramics and Nolan Wynn of Banshee. Each dinner in the series, this one held at Ward’s Poncey-Highland resto Southern Belle, will feature five courses plus an amuse-bouche, with each chef responsible for one course, allowing these incredible talents to flex their creative muscles for a good cause. “We had an amazing team of local chefs lined up for our March Bless Their Hearts dinner,” says Ward. “Our April dinner boasted a star-studded mix of local culinary talent and celebrated chefs from popular eateries in the South.” We can’t wait to see what May brings. 1043 Ponce De Leon Ave. NE, southernbelleatl.com
