While Labor Day weekend is speedily approaching there is a fabulous array of activities and specials happening in and around the city that are seriously worth checking out. Art festivals, sporting events, and unique outdoor experiences are set to make this Labor Day weekend a memorable one.

Art In The Park Marietta Square

Dates: Friday, Sept. 2 - Monday, Sept. 5

Head to Marietta Park for Atlanta’s annual juried fine art festival and its 36th anniversary. Browse through artworks from a curated selection of 175 accomplished artists from around the country. Chat with artists, explore the various mediums of art at the fest, listen to live music, and let the kids loose in the crafty kids' area, there is sure to be something to please everyone in your crew.

Atlanta Black Pride Festival

Dates: Wednesday, Aug. 31 - Sunday, Sept. 4

Party all week long at this star-studded live music festival. It’s known as the largest Black pride event in the U.S.This year, Atlanta-local Latto will perform on Saturday of the festival, with bottle service, outdoor seating, and VIP sections available. Dates: Thursday, Sept. 1 - Sunday, Sept. 4

Close out the traditional summer season with a Labor Day Weekend baseball game. The Braves will face off against the Colorado Rockies on Thursday, Sept. 1, and the Marlins in the next three games. Saturday’s game will conclude with live music, and Sunday’s game will offer players autographs before the game.

Big Peach Sizzler 5K & 10K

Run or walk for a cure to Cystic Fibrosis. This race course spans from Chamblee to Buckhead, and runners can choose to compete in a 5K or a 10K. All finishers are set to receive a T-shirt and medal. Sky High Hot Air Balloon Festival Callaway Gardens
