THECOVE7295.jpgAbsolut Elyx was a star offering during The Cove's festive Labor Day Weekend event series.

In a high-profile holiday collab, luxury Bahamas getaway The Cove at Atlantis partnered with premium Pernod Ricard spirits brand Absolut Elyx vodka to host a series of luxury and lifestyle pop-up events exclusively for guests of The Cove.

The festivities began on Thursday and Friday, as guests checking in were greeted with Absolut Elyx specialty Moscow Mule cocktails. The weekend officially kicked into high gear with Friday evening’s “The Elyxer” event, featuring a sumptuously decorated pop-up speakeasy inside Sea Glass lounge with specialty cocktails, Graycliff cigars and casino slots and table games.

On Saturday, the action continued with “The Garden of Elyx” extravaganza at The Cove Pool, which boasted specialty Absolut Elyx cocktails, bites from Sip Sip by chef Julie Lightbourn, gold henna tattoo lounge, pop-up boutique with luxe brands like Saint Laurent, Pucci and Etro, and fashion show with Bahamian models walking the runway pool deck while modeling fashions by Bahamian designer Theodore Elvett, all in a lush garden setting. Providing an energetic soundtrack to the weekend’s events were local DJs J. Mac and DJ AI, and other libations were provided throughout the weekend by Perrier Jouet, Luc Belaire sparkling wine and Bumbu Rum.

“Collaborating with Pernod Ricard and Absolut Elyx has been so impactful for our guests, who seek experiences that go beyond the ordinary,” enthused Michael MacDonnell, VP of Food & Beverage at Atlantis. “The Summer Solstice events series was new this year, and we could not have asked for a better turnout at each one.” Added Kapil Sharma, general manager of The Cove, “I see these events like a welcome back in a way, after such a rough time in our world. We’re always looking for unique ways for our guests to experience The Bahamas that are still culturally relevant but also bring exciting opportunities to connect with brands that our guests know and love.”
