Atlanta Ballet played host to its 38th annual Winter Ball, featuring its first-ever late-night afterparty. THE PARTY Elegantly dressed in shades of green, The St. Regis Atlanta proved the perfect backdrop to this year’s Winter Ball hosted by the Atlanta Ballet, where local luminaries, do-gooders and tastemakers alike arrived donning black-tie threads. Adding to executive chef Jordan Barnett’s indulgent seated dinner of beef tenderloin and sea bass, a noteworthy wine pairing accommodated the fare with satiating sips of Ramey Chardonnay, Royal Tokaji Red Label and more. THE GUESTS Ginny and Charles Brewer, Chris Carlos, Patti Dickey, Barbara and Eric Joiner, Amy Nelson, Dottie Smith, Cynthia Widner Wall THE HIGHLIGHTS Making its debut was the afterparty, dubbed Turn Up, Turn Out, where Atlanta Ballet dancers wowed with their talent while guests sipped on cocktails ordered at the open bar. A well-deserved applause goes to the event’s chairs—Jamila Hall and Whitcliff McKnight Jr., Linda and Don Morris, and Lisa and Asif Ramji—for a true affair to remember. -Ashton Pike
