The 10^th Annual Thriving Children’s Gala presented by Steve Hightower Hair Salon and Day Spa had its biggest evening to date on May 10, at the Atlanta History Center. “This Is Us” was an exquisite celebration of acceptance, featured Ada Vox and was hosted by Steve Hightower and D’Anne Cagle-Heckert. The evening boasted a Silent Auction, cocktails, hors d'oeuvres – from Atlanta’s top caterers and restaurants with music by Sentimental Journey Orchestra prior to the seated fashion show in Grand Overlook Ballroom. ​After the show, attendees flooded the dance floor and danced the night away in a fashion that only this event could provoke. Another wonderful year was had, raising about $170,000 for the Lost N Found Youth foundation. Kimberly Evans was the photographer for the event.
