Savannah-based Weezie Towels is looking to make a splash with its offerings.
Weezie Towels, named after one of the founder’s grandmothers, offers the Southern touch every Atlantan need for their bathroom.
For co-founders and friends Lindsey Johnson and Liz Eichholz, the act of picking out towels for their new homes was an overwhelming process. Enter Weezie Towels, their brainchild. Named after Johnson’s grandmother’s nickname, the towels were so popular that the dynamic duo sold over 20,000 in their first four months of business. Five embroidery choices, 10 thread colors and several piping colors—with more to be introduced—help streamline the process. The organic cotton towels are superabsorbent, environmentally safe and, of course, easy on the eyes. Bath sheets, washcloths and more options abound, and an interior designer program is even offered to help designers put the finishing touches on powder-room projects. As for what’s next? Robes to make towel time even more sacred, plus beach towels, with more choices and surprises in store as the company grows. Ensure you’re the chicest on the beach this summer by perusing the styles—you’re guaranteed to have a tough time choosing. Starter pack from $230
Made from organic cotton, the towels can be monogrammed (but of course) in 10 thread colors, five embroidery choices and several piping colors.
Coming this spring and summer are robes and beach towels, adding to the coveted collection of bath and hand towels.
