Dr. Debra Gray King talks about all things Atlanta Center for Cosmetic Dentistry.

As one of only 88 dentists in the world who have completed the highly respected American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Fellowship, Dr. Debra Gray King is trusted by countless Atlantans (and A-listers) who visit her Buckhead-based practice, Atlanta Center for Cosmetic Dentistry.

“I'm proud of the impact we've made not just in cosmetic dentistry but in helping people feel confident in themselves,” says Dr. King, who has found success by prioritizing artistry and precision in every smile transformation. Here, we sit down with the dental dynamo to talk shop.

What inspired the "dental spa" environment at Atlanta Center for Cosmetic Dentistry?

The concept was inspired by my desire to change the way people view dental care. I wanted to create an atmosphere where patients felt relaxed, pampered, and taken care of—an experience that felt more like a luxury than a necessity. Patients often tell us that it feels more like visiting a retreat than a dentist’s office.

What’s new at your practice this year and going into 2025?

This year, we’ve introduced cutting-edge digital technology for smile design, streamlining our process and enhancing accuracy. For 2025, we're focusing on further integrating advanced technologies—including AI for predictive treatment planning—and continuing to elevate the luxury experience for our clients.

What are some trends you expect to see in cosmetic dentistry next year?

I anticipate more advancements in AI-driven design, making smile customization even more precise. We're also seeing a rise in minimally invasive techniques, with a focus on preserving as much natural tooth structure as possible, which is what we’ve been already doing at ACCD for years. 3-D printing technology will continue to evolve, allowing for more efficient and personalized treatment plans. Additionally, more biocompatible materials that enhance both aesthetics and longevity will become standard. 5014 Roswell Road NE, atlantacenterforcosmeticdentistry.com
