When moving to Columbus from Belgium to work for the W.C. Bradley Company, the Oliviés had their hearts set on living the same walkable lifestyle they had before. As luck would have it, the W.C. A short block away from the WC Bradley Company is its riverfront Eagle & Phenix Mill. The circa 1851 historic cotton mill was the second largest cotton mill in Georgia. The Oliviés fell in love with the historic riverfront buildings at Eagle & Phenix Mill and moved into a fourth-floor condo in 2010. Three years later, the couple purchased a second, adjacent condo on the fourth floor and began their home renovation. They planned to bring their modern, European vision to life while still maintaining the mill’s historic architectural features.

The condo was designed by Paul Gibson of Barnes Gibson Partners and constructed by Steve Anthony. The artistic and European design can be seen throughout each room in the home. From the Dornbracht fixtures in the Master Bathroom and its two-story Master Bedroom closet to the Pedini Kitchen with Miele and Gaggenau appliances and LSI Museum track lighting throughout. The modern finishes and amenities in the home have been thought through for a modern-comfort living that boasts one of the Southeast’s best views.
