At the beginning of the pandemic, many people were afraid to come into salons. Steve Hightower quickly decided to put styling chairs outside on their patio and style hair outdoors. TV stations soon got word through the internet and neighborhood papers and decided to come and cover the story, leading to the success of the patio services. Throughout the winter it remained busy, with the addition of outdoor heaters and patrons dressed in winter gear. The salon continues to operate on the outdoor patio for any guests that are still feeling uncomfortable being indoors. They also continue to have a private indoor room where they work with chemo patients fitting wigs upon request.
As restrictions continue to be lifted, they continue to fully practice all safety protocols including temp checks and masks, even if you have been vaccinated. They are also adamant on sanitizing between clients and maintaining social distancing between stations.
