Parties,
On September 19, North Fulton’s most glamorous night of
the year returned, as Avalon, Alpharetta’s award-winning
mixed-use destination, hosted its fifth annual Noon to Night
Fall Fashion Benefit: a magical event dedicated to raising
life-changing funds for local non profit Bert’s Big Adventure
(BBA). This year, Noon to Night raised close to $75,000 for
BBA, which will go towards providing an all-expenses-paid,
five-day journey to Walt Disney World for children with
chronic and terminal illnesses and their families. Noon to
Night provides BBA kids with a magical experience outside of
their normal medical routines, encouraging them to step
onto the runway and enjoy their moment in the spotlight.
Prior to hitting the catwalk, 12 BBA kids spent the day in true
model style, being pampered with hair and make-up styling
sessions, live entertainment and more. As guests arrived,
Avalon’s stellar lineup of chef-driven restaurants provided
culinary delights and beverage pairings ahead of the show.
Following a “Fund the Need” live auction, the kids finally
joined local celebrity models on Avalon’s famous blue
runway where they showcased the latest fall styles for all
ages, sizes and abilities. Handpicked by Avalon’s best-in-
class retailers, each of the styles were inspired by an array of
looks that can be worn from morning to night. Afterwards,
the festivities continued as VIP guests danced the night away
atop The Hotel at Avalon’s Pool Terrace during a silent disco
party with DJ Yvonne Monet.
