Valentine’s Day is around the corner. Make a reservation as these romantic restos and discover why food is the language of love!
Le Bilboquet’s patio pairs perfectly with French fare and good company.
Le Bilboquet
Shoppers and diners alike can refuel with French-inspired eats such as croque-monsieur and pommes frites now that this Manhattan favorite has migrated below the Mason-Dixon. The cafe’s location in Buckhead will boast the same charming characteristics as its Upper East Side Euro-chic counterpart, serving up bistro-style breakfast, lunch and dinner. Did we mention you can bring your pooch along? 3027 Bolling Way NE, 404.869.9944, $$
Pricci
The kitchen at Pricci is stacked with Italian chefs all managed by Milan native and executive chef Piero Premoli. He uses only the finest ingredients to prepare the hearty Tuscan, Ligurian and Milanese dishes like beef short rib ravioli in buttery braising jus; risotto funghi with Geezer Farm’s mushrooms; and osso buco with carnaroli risotto Milanese and preserved lemon gremolata. 500 Pharr Road, 404.237.2941, $$$
Cuts Steakhouse
Slide into a curvaceous booth under ceramic antlers, and proceed to sample the chef’s wares. Both the braised beef short rib and smoked salmon appetizers are delicious. You’ll especially admire the tender rib meat (with mushrooms, cabbage ragout and grated horseradish), and the hunk of salmon (with remoulade and flatbread crackers). Wicker may be Southern at heart, but this menu has global intentions. 60 Andrew Young International Blvd. NE, 404.525.3399, $$
Chops Lobster Bar
As the name so aptly applies, you go to Chops Lobster Bar, well, to feast on surf and turf. But we’re not talking just any steak and lobster—the beef here is wet-aged for 42 days, and the live Maine lobster can weigh up to 5 pounds regularly. You’ll certainly need a to-go box with your check. 70 W. Paces Ferry Road, 404.262.2675, $$$
O-Ku
This ultrachic new hot spot in the Ironworks development features traditional Asian cuisine with an authentic Southern twist. Enjoy executive chef Jordan Smith’s tempura oysters; spicy teriyaki pork belly; or green eggs and hamachi hako inside the industrialized and seductive restaurant or out on the rooftop bar overlooking the skyline. 1085 Howell Mill Road, Ste. A3, 404.500.2383, $$
