Driving Female Success at the EmpowHER Conference

The women of Atlanta flocked to The Hotel at Avalon for a two-day conference chock-full of connection, growth and empowerment. Ranging from entrepreneurs, business experts and community leaders, the EmpowHER Conference was a celebration of women with not only passion but also the drive to accomplish, with added inspiration from Porsche, Dana Spinola, Founder and CEO of fab’rik and more.

Porsche embraced female drive with the debut of their new Macan SUV, while other Porsche vehicles glimmered throughout the ballroom and around the hotel dripping with florals by C. Wayman. Pronounced keynote speakers and interactive panel discussions made for inspirational conversations. Dana Spinola, Founder and CEO of fab'rik, wrapped the general session with a candid story about her path to not only professional success but family and personal achievement. Others included, Liz Gillespie, Partner and VP of Marketing for North American Properties, Bevin Mugford, Head of Field Development at Peach, and Princess Banton-Lofters, CEO of Loft 22 Entertainment and Founder of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. The sequence of events was hosted by fearless leader Jaime Primak Sullivan, host of #Cawfeetalk.

Getting some fresh air off the main stage, guests enjoyed an outdoor refreshment break studded with Porsches, Spindrift beverages and Garrett Popcorn. Attendees also had the chance to peruse the pop-up-shops teeming with custom jewelry and wears by DressUp, Peach and Stromis Swimwear. Other appearances included:

Kendra Scott undoubtedly captivated the afternoon with a poolside cocktail party on The Hotel at Avalon rooftop. Sun-kissed by Kendra Scott yellow, guests danced like no one was watching at Yvonne Monet's silent disco. Events of a Lifetime and The Grand Bevy created branded lemon cocktails while Kendra Scott gave specialty gifts. Charcuterie and desserts courtesy of Cheese Me and Say Cheese Gourmet Cheesecakes were gone in seconds. As if the day weren't summery enough, women meandered down The Avalon for a Boulevard Stroll, visiting participating retailers and restaurants for exclusive deals.
