From the hands of beloved Buckhead Art + Company owner Katie Jones and abstract artist and jewelry designer Alice Trahant comes the first ever Buckhead Art + Co Holiday Market, bringing together a collection of over 50 talented artists and vendors. Though 2020 hasn’t been what any of us expected, the duo decided to bring back the sense of community we’ve all been missing, thankfully just in time for the holidays. Starting on Black Friday, make the trip to the Buckhead Shops to explore the finest contemporary art Atlanta has to offer, and know that your purchases are going to an even better cause. The holiday shop is in honor of Emerson Podojil, a young family friend of Buckhead Art + Company owner who passed away from pediatric cancer. A percentage of all sales will go towards Pediatric Brain Cancer Research at the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta in the name Podojil, a mission near and dear to Jones’ heart. Though this holiday excursion is only open until the first of the month, those five days are packed with exciting features, such as opening night’s mistletoe margarita bar and a performance by M3. On Saturday, celebrate with the girls at the after-hours Ladies Night sponsored by Real Azul Tequila, and on Monday bring along your man for the Old Fashion Happy hour bar. Nothing screams getting in holiday spirit quite like creative cocktails, a festive environment, and shopping for your loved ones - all the while supporting a noble cause. It may not be December quite yet, but the holidays are definitely here at Buckhead Art + Co, and we’re for one excited about it.
