Meals on Wheels Atlanta’s A Meal to Remember proved to be an anniversary for the books.
THE PARTY The 30th anniversary of Meals on Wheels Atlanta’s black-tie soiree lived up to its name, featuring an exquisite five-course meal presented by four Master Chefs of France under the direction of chef Mark Alba. Enchanting decor created a palette of silver and white with pops of tangerine accents, all ensconced within intimate dining nooks. THE GUESTS Co-chairs Juanita Baranco and Daniel Grider; Monica Pearson, Su So-Longman, Stephanie and Jerome Russell, Louise Sams THE HIGHLIGHTS Judy Zaban Miller awarded Sal De Pasquale the Zaban Award for volunteer of the year, and at the end of the night, Atlantans raised a well-deserved toast after having raised over $600,000 in one evening—proceeds fund seniors’ meal preparation and delivery, home repairs and care centers.
