From fireworks to picnics to parties and more, here’s how to celebrate the Fourth of July in Atlanta for the perfect Independence Day.

Fantastic Fourth Celebration

At Stone Mountain Park, this year’s festivities are a multi-day affair beginning July 1st and ending on the 7th. Guests can expect attractions such as a scenic railroad tour, high-speed Swiss cable car ride and live entertainment throughout the day. Independence Day Celebration

Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race

Celebrate this Fourth of July at Atlanta’s 54th annual signature race. Starting at Lenox Square and ending in Piedmont Park, the Peachtree is the world’s largest 10k event, including all classes of runners. Fleetwood Mac: A Fleetwood Mac Tribute

If you want a different way to commemorate the holiday and prefer pushing your way to the front of a crowd, the Fleetwood Mac: A Fleetwood Mac Tribute band brings all your favorites. Peachtree City 4th of July Parade

The Fourth in the Park

No 4th of July weekend is complete without a parade, and the Marietta Let Freedom Ring Parade intends to pull out all of the stops with two thousand participants consisting of marching units from local bands, civic organizations, local businesses, beauty queens and more.
