The Atlantan was pleased to honor some of Atlanta’s most philanthropic powerhouses at this year’s Charity & Social Datebook Celebration. Our 2019 Guest Editor Steve Hightower served as the evening’s special host. Our 10th anniversary, themed Night Under the Stars, was held at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center. A gorgeous ice sculpture provided by Ice Sculpture Inc. welcomed guests into the space and helped set the tone for the magical night. Ebony Peoples Events & Designs assisted in the designing of a stunning event with furniture provided by AFR Event Furniture, rentals courtesy of Atlanta Party Rentals and staging provided by Utopian Events. Beautiful linens compliments of I Do Linens and classic florals by C. Wayman Floral & Events helped tie together the elegant theme. Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center provided the delicious catering along with tasty cakes by For Goodness Cakes. The ballroom entertainment was provided by LED Experience and AV and lighting by Active Production & Design. Guests enjoyed live music by Orchestra Noir during cocktail hour and transitioned into the night with music by DJ Yvonne Monet. The dance floor and Step & Repeat were provided by Indaglow Productions. Live artist I am Not Maggie amazed partygoers with her painting of the scenic backdrop. Guests also enjoyed a fun photo experience courtesy of Shutterbooth ATL. The event was captured through videography by Thomas Vision Films. As the evening commenced, guests received a lovely gift bag with Garrett’s Popcorn and a sweet takeaway item provided by The Fox Theatre.
